Section 01
Anchor is a browser extension designed to help traders enforce personal discipline and risk management rules while using TradingView.
The software monitors visible broker and profit-and-loss information within the TradingView interface and may trigger cooldown timers, journaling prompts, lock screens, and related behavioral safeguards when predefined rules are violated.
Anchor does not place trades, execute orders, access brokerage accounts, or interact with broker APIs. All trading decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user.
By using Anchor, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your trading activity and any financial outcomes that result from it.
Access to Anchor is offered through a recurring subscription following a free trial period. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their payment provider or billing portal, subject to the terms of that provider.
Section 02
Anchor is designed with a privacy-first architecture.
All user configuration data, journal entries, session tracking information, and trading-related behavioral data are stored locally on the user’s device using browser storage.
Anchor reads visible content from TradingView only as needed to perform its core function, including detecting broker context, profit-and-loss values, and rule-violation conditions within the page interface.
Anchor does not transmit trading activity, trading journal entries, or behavioral session data to external servers.
Anchor does not access broker credentials, brokerage accounts, or trading platform authentication systems.
License key validation is performed by transmitting the user’s license key to Anchor’s servers to verify subscription or activation status. No trading activity, journal entries, or behavioral session data is included in this request.
Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. Anchor’s backend infrastructure may use service providers to support license validation and subscription status checks. Trading activity, journal entries, and behavioral session data are not transmitted as part of this process. Stripe and other service providers involved in payment or subscription support may collect and process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
